No weight? Hrm.. there are some 18 year olds I trust more than a xx year old. Some people hit a full maturity in their teens, yet others (older) have yet to reach that point. The 'real world' does more harm than good sometimes

Back to the original point of this thread. I'm uncertain that an ".xxx" domain (or similar) would actually do much. A global Internet is impossible to control. "Laws" simply cannot be effective to people who disregard the laws in the first place. After all, many adult sites should be restricting their content based on age, but simply do not do so.
Furthermore, an ".xxx" top level domain will not necessarily restrict redirects (such as disniy.com redirecting to a 'legal' disniy.xxx.)
I suppose an ".xxx" domain (or similar) would have
some impact, which in itself might be worth it. The topic is very complex. Thanks for raising it, tom0360.
