NOW not always pro-choice

I did an internship in a plastic surgeon's practice for a semester when I was trying to get into med school. She specialized in breast reductions, but did do some augmentations. She frequently talked about how there was no scientific data behind the banning of silicon implants. It seems to be a controversy between doctors, but more and more are backing silicon. And it is supposedly making a comeback over the saline filled implants. There were 3 women that I met while I was there who had reconstructive surgeries after radical mastectomies and they all hated the saline. They said it was better than nothing, but would rather have had silicon.
