Unlike the others with the lsass.exe problem, mine reads as follows:

lsass.exe - Bad Image

The application or DLL C:\windows\system32\MPR.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskcette.

I built the computer myself over the past 4 years. It's running an Athlon 800 MHz, etc., but that can't have anything to do with it. My computer has been running totally cut off from the internet for 3 months now with now problems at all. The only recent change was installing software for an iPAQ nearly 2 weeks ago. There was nothing changed before the last successful bootup.

I've tried doing the ASR, but I don't have a disk for that (I know, my fault for not backing it up).

I'd appreciate any help.
