I hate to admit this but ... 1928 Model A Ford coupe that I bought when I was 14, completely stripped to the bare frame and running gear and rebuilt. Panted fire engine red when all had been rebuilt.
My friends wanted me to take it to the Santa Maria (CA) airport to the weekend drag races as they wanted to know how it'd do in the quarter mile. That old 4 cylinder engine gave the impression of a lot of low speed torque. However when it got much over 55 mph it was hard to see in the rear view mirror due to the vibration.
Wish I still had the car. It would have been a good long-term investment.
