hey yall. my friend has a msi nforce2 K7N2G-L MS-6570 and it has onboard video. he wants to install a geforce fx in it and he cant get it to work. the problem is that we cant get the mobo to recognize that there is a card in there versus the onboard. we have tried every setting in the bios that is video related and no luck. there are no mobo jumpers for this either. we even flashed the bios to a newer version but still nothing. we have tried using a geforce 3 ti200, a gf4 ti4200, and the gf fx. nothing will work. when we put a card in, the onboard video stops but the card will not display anything and we get an error beep. his DLED on the mobo shows all green for os boot so the pc is working but no video.

anybody know how to fix this? we have tried everything we can think of... from what i hear this is a fairly common problem.
