You need the percentage of decrease...it's unknown, Let it = X.
Your base amount is $2323.14.
And your Amount in dollars after the decrease is $437.10.

sooooo,

2323.14(x) = 437.10

Divide both sides by the coefficient of X. This leaves you with....

To change this to a percentage just multiply by 100.
