Burning camel dung is highly effective, Martoch.
Smelly, though.

Keeps ppl away as well.
We have mozzies in squadrons here in the summer, and those elctronic bug zappers work pretty well, especially at night. We have one in our yard near the pool area, and it keeps the critters manageable. Also use personal repellents as well, especially when mozzy diseases are around (like we have - Murray Valley Encephalitis and Ross River Fever). DEET based ones are best, but make usre you use child-strength on kids.
So, if camel dung ain't your thing, look at the high tech-solution.
Cheers
Mick
