That's a nice price for that camera, especially after rebate. It's a pretty good camera too, it has pretty much the same imaging sensor as the 5700 which is nikons top o the line prosumer digicam in a 4mp version as apposed to the 5mp of the 5700. The only drawback to both those cameras is low-light focusing and a tendency to blow out highlight detail in high contrast situations...ie bright sun-light outdoor shots. But unless you plan on using this in a professional environment that should not be a noticable problem. The low-light focusing issue is sort of a nikon trademark though, they just don't do a bang up job in low light situations. But for the money, that's a lot of bang for your buck.
