another wierd thing - the Kingston PC1066 RDRAM that's on buymstar.com now seems to be ECC - which should make it even more expensive. however, they still show it for just $50!
i dunno, it just seems very fishy to me that they are the only ones who offer this expensive RDRAM for $25-30 less than any1 else... |
SEEMS to be ECC now? YIKES! Keep on shopping my friend. If they cannot get their act squared away on advertising their products, then they just lost your money...
GoogleGear is good, but slow on order processing unless you request priority next day delivery.
If i were you, i'd take a look at
www.crucial.com to see what they have for memory... I had mixed crucial and kingston on my system and i had nothing but problems... I traced it to the kingston chip, chucked it and loaded in another stick of crucial and enjoyed my successes ever since..
