If you don't need very high quality I'd go for the Epson or maybe a Canon. Reason is the ink, many models made by these 2 will use generic ink cartridges which cost $3-8 each compared to HP cartridges that cost $30-40 each. Go to
www.extracartridges.com and see which models you can buy cheap ink for. I've got an Epson 480sxu that is 1.5 years old and runs fine. It cost me $22 after rebate and I always use the generic ink. I'm very happy with it. Check this one out, $49 + 8 shipping.
