While I have to agree that the photos are funny (you should see what we put up on ship
) and our military is sadly underfunded, there is a slight ray of light on the horizon-
We are, supposedly, going to be getting a hefty defense budget increase. (my fingers are crossed)
Also, about bases- BC has Aldergrove, it also has a Naval base in Victoria (Esquimalt) and a testing range in Nanoose. (which is used by us and the Americans)
