Have you tried just connecting with the ip address? If it's going to the internet to resovle ftp.mp3.com it's not going to work...since you don't own the mp3.com domain name and ftp.mp3.com won't point to your ftp computer.

edit...btw..I'm assuming you have 2 computer setup both going to the router, is that right? Are you trying to access the ftp server from over the internet, or just from the other computer?
