Ah, Success. Open your database. Do a right click on the form (or report) that you short cut will point to. Select create shortcut. In the text box it will show the shortcut. Copy it to the clip board. You do not need to create the shortcut. Go to you desktop and create a new file. I did a text file. Make sure your OS is set to show file extensions. If it does not change it by opening my computer, seleting view in the menu and options. Take the check out of hide extentions. Change the file name to shortcut.lnk, or whatever you wish to name it, as long as the extension is lnk. Hit OK. Right click and go to properties. In shortcut paste the shortcut on the clipboard from access. Click the change icon button, and WaLa. A new shortcut, that you can alter the icon in.
