The Opposite Problem 2000/XP Booting

I was hoping for advice on this Dual Boot Problem. I had already on C: installed Windows 2000 Pro, and I installed XP Pro on a second hard disk. XP Works fine, but when I try to boot to Windows 2000, I get the error message "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupted" File is \WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM I have read thru the posts and all talk about the opposite happening somewhat with XP after installing 2000. I have no problem running a repair, but I don't want to end up not being able to boot to either OS.

I'd appreciate some advice.....

Thanks...

Dennis
