Went back in at 5:30 today and got my free scanner from Officemax! This time I just said, "You take Office Depot coupons." and handed it to the checker.
This time I was armed with reciepts from OD and Staples showing both of them honoring the coupon for items with MIRs and in-store rebates. Didn't need 'em tho.
