hehe, fun. i would recommend getting a car audio name, even if only because i don't know where you could find a 1F cap somewhere else. to give you an idea, radioshack sells caps in pF (picofarads), which is (if i remember right) 1 x 10 ^-10 or 0.00000000001 farads. you only need one per sub (btw how powerful are they?), and AFAIK they would be hooked up in series with the power, and not linked together. my only concern is you gotta get the right size cap for your amp. also be careful not to overwork your alternator.
