I've heard of putting big capacitors onto amplifiers to get the needed juice when playing a song with mega bass.

I was wondering should I spend the $150-300 on a car audio name or go with a high capacitance one from like a elcectrical store. Or does it matter???

Also what would you recommed a 1F cap or what?

I really noticed this since I got 2 new amplifiers and looking on my dash as soon as the music hits a low note or many (thump thump) my volt meter dances around.

And if I get one of those how would it be hooked up? In series or parallel?
