Is Nero InCD installed?
Nero 4.x doesn't work under winXP and may cause troubles. If you have 5.x you can upgrade free and unlimited to the latest version (www.nero.com)
Also go to Windows\System\IOSUBSYS directory and check for the following file: SCSI1HLP.VXD. If aviable, rename it.
