Actually, that looks like a couple questions

. I know hibernation works, but I'll answer your questions. I'm actually hibernating the computer when I go to check out the BIOS settings. I went to the BIOS settings, and S1(POS) was selected. The only other option was S3(STR). The Power Options Properties window does have a Hibernate tab, and hibernation is enabled in there. I couldn't find any hiberfile.sys file, but I don't think this is an issue. Windows probably creates it when needed, and deletes it after using it.
