Intel puts out p4 2.4 and AMD XP2200+
nVidia releases gf4---too fast to utilize most apps
Ram increase from ddr 333 to ddr 400
M/b's released w/ddr400 capabilities

Do we need more then just a new design?

AMD Hammer range and hypertransport
Blue Ray
3D ram
Serial ata
Intels complete package cpu
Intels Yamahill and 64 bit processor
