I normally would not post about this becuase there are much bigger stories, but the dog mauling trial has come to a close and the defendants were found guilty on all 7 counts (5 for her and 2 for him) http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,48484,00.html . The reason I found this interesting was that after the trial, the victim's "life partner" and her lawyer were shown on Fox News calling for dog-control and likening it to gun control. I thought this was interesting. They pined for a ban on all dogs of "that size" and said they had no purpose in the US. They also said that apartment building owners should be more responsible and should know about problems like this. The "life partner" of the victim said she would continue with a civil case against the convicted.
