no matter which pci slot I put this modem in the system wont boot
its a creative modem blaster
Do ya think its bad ?

it booted fine with just the vid card

also this is the new system I been waiting to build for a month and I ordered the 1600 xp which is supposed to be 1.4 gig but the system and sandra keep telling me its 1.05 gig do you think they sent me the wrong processor? How can I tell? will I be able to tell if I pull the heat sink off? the board is a k7s5a do you think it might be reading it wrong?

one other thing since the whole system is new how do I get into it to load anything cant seem to get to the a: prompt had to drag the little 1.2 gig hard drive with windows alredy on it to get it to work .
