Can be used in the same Computer ?

[A CNR slot--Communications Network Riser is used , typically by OEM system intergraters for modem or audio apllications and to save money.]

Reason: One with Toslink (fiber optics) to connect to Audio-receiver or via 6-channel component outputputs.
Sound card is either A) CNR slot, not PCI slot; or B) embedded 6-channel with daughter board not connected to PCI bus via slot.

Second: Creative Labs Soundblaster 5.1 Gamer in PCI slot for covential or SP/DIF Din-type connecter to convential computer speakers. An alternative scenario to #2 is 6-Channel 5.1 same as embedded sound (CMI) with daugter card with toslink I/O. ( I also have a sound card that uses the same CMI audio chip as the embedded sound.)

Need a Mic/Sp free for internet telephony.

Question: Will there be an inevitable IRQ conflict ?
Question: Must the embedded sound be diabled in the BIOS before even a CNR-slot sound card can be used.
Question: If the embedded is disabled, is there any way to install a PCI sound card and a CNR-slot sound card?

Is it possible by any means to set up such a system with different sets of outputs for audio-receiver and for computer speakers?
The Toslink I/O is a valuable feature with an audioreceiver with toslink input. Have fiber optic cables.

Three sound sources:1) Embedded 2) Communications Networking Riser (CNR) 3) PCI sound card to work with plus a daughter board off the PCI slots, just mneeds a breakout slot in the case. One Computer .
