Terrible experience: www.ConsumerSecurityProducts.com
Hey folks
I recently had my worst online shopping experience so far at ConsumerSecurityProducts.com (a website affiliated with RVProtection.net, CycleWarranty.com, VesselWarranties.com, VesselProtectionProducts.com, CycleProtectionProducts.com). I bought a mini audio recorder that proved to be defective right out of the box. I call the company to ask for an exchange or refund, and the owner/customer service/sales representative fwds me to a provider tel. number (which I subsequently called but was not answered).
The sale agreement on the website clearly indicated that defective products would be refunded or exchanged directly from the office of the company. I didn't want the extra hassle so I call the guy back. He gets pissed off, and starts to yell at me. I file a Paypal claim, and when he receives the notification, he flips and threatens me with frivolous legal action -small claims- unless I cancel my claim. He explicitly said he wanted to do this just to damage my credit score (have all of this in writing).
I will not characterize this company or individual- the conclusions are yours.
