My daughter has an Acer laptop which is covered by a third party warranty. She asked if I knew how to back up the laptop before sending if off, just in case. While searching, I went to the ACER site, to look for documentation, downloads, etc. I was taken back by the fact there is no Acer service within the United States. On that basis, if the laptop dies again, it will get replaced with another brand. I'd say avoid this brand.
