The way I look at it, there is an ethics to things.
I distinguish incompetence or rudeness by one or even several employees on the one hand --AND --a systematic company Business policy to handle matters a certain way. Point well taken Megalos, however, in all to many case, hear in America, service of customer takes a back seat since it does not directly generate revenue nor profit.
The latter is especially harmful to both Customers and Other Businesses alike.
It may even lower the bar for other Companies so that they feel that they must "match" some untoward practice or incur an avoidable expense. No company is forced into bad business practice...Some companies excel in it and others consider it a nuisance...Hear at RR, we clearly witness the difference between good service and the lame..
It is not clear at this point whether I encountered a series of failing employees --or a failing Company policy. Clearly the latter..One can expect a bad apple or two (sorry Mr Jobs) but in this case of yours indicates too even the most feeble that the lack of correct customer service is by design.
I do know that as of now I have several (about 5) Case Numbers as they keep closing out the case without keeping their word to call me as the result of their "investigation". Last I was told by Customer Service, "It had been sent to Corporate, but don't expect as speedy a response as from us". HuH? Clearly, this firm has demonstrate that it is not worthy of your business...Please Master Megalos, helf this disarray die.
