If it sounds too good to be true...

Techondigital is definitely a scam bait and switch operation. Generally, I research sites before I buy. But I was taken in by the rating site that listed Techondigital. I ordered a Panasonic at a great price (too good to be true) and got an email requiring me to call to confirm my order. I did and the guy on the phone rudely tried to sell me an overpriced battery after telling me that the one in the camera was only good for 20 minutes. I kept saying no and he rudely hung up on me. Then I found this site and realized I'd been had. I called their customer service and there was a very polite guy who assured me the camera would go out in a few days. About 3 hours later I received an email telling me the camera was out of stock for 6-8 weeks and they'd email me if they came in. They were cancelling my order and told me not to try to re-order the camera.

What a racket! Soooo, if it sounds to good to be true, it's probably a scam!
