Ikea is the best! <~~ thats if you pay attention, read, and follow instructions people!! Most of the stuff comes with instructions, model numbers/part numbers and in the end you can't blame an Ikea employee for giving you the wrong item/s because it is still up to you to look at what you're buying!! (It's like buying a car and not looking under the hood).

Now qualitywise the things there are not always great, most stuff is not solid wood. Some people are surprised how cheap or flimsy certain furnitures are from Ikea, BUT who shops for furniture online anyway?!!? You need to see and feel the quality of any furniture and you can't do that online (and Ikea's online selection is not even half of what they have in store).

Now, I don't always have the smoothest transactions with Ikea myself. I bought a bookcase recently and one of the wood plates were damaged. I went back to Ikea, took a number and though the waiting was about 45min-1hr, a customer service rep told me that I bought the last piece so there is no extra parts for replacement, so I suggested that they get the piece off the display floor, he came back 5 minutes later from the display floor with a undamage piece and I went home happy.

Nice and simple.
