Hello. I joined this forum just so I could post my experience with Techon Digital for other people to read.

I am looking for a new digital camera and found the one I want at a great price on the techon digital website. I was a little leary of them, but the price was so good....

I placed my order online and received a confirmation e-mail requiring me to call and confirm my order within 24 hours. I thought this was very strange. Why should I have to call them for anything? The next day I called, a recording came on telling me to press 1 to confirm an internet order so I did.

This guy comes on the phone in a very unprofessional way. Within 1 minute I am abruptly put on hold 3 times! I had already verified my address with the guy and he's not saying anything to me just putting me on hold so after the third time I hung up.

When I get home that night there's a message on my maching to call this guy James back at his extension number. The next day I call him back and tell him I received a message to call. I am put on hold again 2 more times within the first 30 seconds of the call!! After the second time he comes back on the line and asks if he can call me back in 10 minutes. I said no. He asked if I could hold for 2 minutes because his system is down. I said no. He says well then I'm cancelling your order. I asked him, is that why I had to call you back today because you have to cancel my order? He says No, you have 2 options; you can either hold for 2 minutes or I'm cancelling your order!

I couldn't believe it! I told him to cancel my order then!

So far I have not received any charges on my card from this company.

I should have known better and done some research about the company before I gave them my card number!

Definitely DO NOT try to buy anything from these people. It seems all of the bad reviews I read after the fact are 100% correct!
