You might be able to recover functionality on the Moto Q. While turning it on, hold the action button in the center of the direction pad. Keep holding it for up to a minute or two. You might get lucky by having a master reset screen appear, after which you should follow any presented screen prompts. You will lose your personal data and any personally installed apps unless you have data backups to restore from your computer, but you might again have a working phone to use or sell.
