i scratched my laptop monitor....
I scratched the screen of my dell inspiron 8100... it doesn't look like a deep scratch though.... it looks more like a smudge..... someone dropped a cardboard box with some books in it....
at first I thought that it was some goo from the packing tape that was holding the box together... I tried wiping it off with a little water and a cloth... and it seems to temporarily disappear, but then it comes back... all the time...
i'm afraid to try any other sort of cleaning agent so as not to totally jack up my screen, but I want to get rid of these smudges...
can anyone please help me out here... I'm totally at a loss!
