I too ordered a lens from this company. First I had expected it to arrive within a few days but it too three weeks. When it arrived, it arrived cracked. The crack was large enough to be noticed when I took several shots on my 20D. I tried to contact them and they too gave me the run-around and finally told me that I could "just sue them". The problems were just beginning. When I get my charge card the price was not the original $480 but was charged on my credit card as $630.00. This is where it gets good. Since I happen to know someone very high-up with my credit card issuing bank, I was able to take that route. My friend at the bank called down to the credit card department and made them adjust the charge. They removed the charge and also the other charge for a second item I had ordered the very next day. The second item had arrived as expected and had no issues so basically I got that item for free. That is a savings of $180+ dollars!!! Not bad for a broken item. Here is the OTHER great thing. Canon has a great repair group that found that this was a side scratch and they were able to repair the item for a fee. That fee was LESS than the $180 I had aleady made. So. In the long run I got the two items for the price of the lesser item. $700+ for $180 (less actually).
