Two updates I have...

First, I e-mailed Elaine, asking if anything new was going on. I sense she is out of the loop on this one, as it is more the DA's matter. Here is her response:

I haven't heard anything new. You can contact the DA at (530) 889-7000. You will need to reference Wesley Forrester and our case # 345-04-15072 and they will put you through to the DA handling the case (I think Ed Jones). Elaine

Second, I got a response from the Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair...to summarize..

"The Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair has sent a case to the AG's office for dispensary action against the State registration of Wesley Forrester, dba Portable Computer".

They also mentioned it was their understanding the "DA was reviewing the case for possible criminal action".

My sense is, this one will fall thru the cracks if we do not start hounding Ed Jones to do something. I plan to hit him with a letter next week, and I'll let everyone know the response, if I get one.
