I assume you mean you want the driver so you can use the cd burner, the regular cd drivers are built into windows and I see no reason why ME wouldnt work on there.

It doesnt have to be an HP cd burner driver, any old cd burning software will get it. Get an older version of Roxio or Adaptec, ive picked them up as chaep as $5. A couple years older one will be fine as im sure thats not the fastest burner on the planet anyway.

If you get ME on there, right click My computer, go to advanced and turn off system restore. next go Start Run (type) Msconfig and uncheck system restore and pchealth under the startup tab. Then go to the system.ini portion and put a new line under the 386Enh sections as follows "ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1".

If all that is done upon a clean install and as soon afterward as possible it helps ME out considerably.
